「The Breath of the Ainu - A Trip to Kamikawa」
Supervised by: Pennyuncle General Incorporated Association
Peniunkuru means "people who live upstream" in the Ainu language, and Ainu and Japanese people work together to preserve the Kamikawa Ainu culture. You can experience a journey to gain a deeper understanding and experience of Ainu culture and traditions.

Number of participants and age restrictions
・Minimum 1 person, maximum 20 people（Lake activities are for elementary school students and above）
※Even those who are completely new to lake activities or who are not good at swimming can participate.
For children under elementary school age, the maximum weight that a SUP board can carry is approximately 100 kg, so if accompanied by an adult, small children can ride on one SUP together. In that case, the child will ride for free.

In the event of an accident, we are covered by liability insurance and participants are covered by personal injury insurance.
We cannot be held responsible for any damage or injury that exceeds the scope of coverage of this insurance, so we recommend that you voluntarily purchase "Domestic Travel Insurance" or "Japan Travel Insurance" for foreign travelers.
- ●Clothes and belongings for lake activities

Dry suits, marine boots and life jackets are available on-site (included in the experience fee).
〈Dry suit innerwear (clothing)） You can choose your innerwear from your everyday clothes! We recommend that you wear something made of a material that dries quickly.
The attire will consist of a long-sleeved shirt, tracksuit, pants, and socks.If it's very hot on land, you can wear a short-sleeved shirt, but generally long-sleeved shirts are recommended to prevent you from getting sticky with sweat.
The best material for the shirt is polyester, if possible! Mountain climbing innerwear and ski undershirts are also suitable.〈About shoes〉 Travel along a gravel road through the mountains to the lake surface of Daisetsu Dam.。
Please avoid high heels and sandals and wear comfortable sneakers. During this period, the water will be cold and wet skin will be exposed to the wind, causing your body temperature to drop.
A properly fitting sneaker will help you avoid such wind.〈Outer jackets, windbreakers〉 When your body is wet and exposed to the wind, your body temperature drops easily.
Depending on the weather, it may feel chilly, so it would be more comfortable if you bring a thin windbreaker.〈Anti-glasses band〉 If you fall into the water, your glasses or sunglasses may come off and sink into the water.
It is impossible to dive very deep, so if you wear glasses or sunglasses, make sure you wear sunglasses bands.〈Food, drinks and sunscreen〉 As you sweat and are exposed to a lot of sunlight, you may become dehydrated without realizing it.
Please bring plenty of water and sunscreen.
Unless you have an individually tailored plan, meals are not included and you will need to prepare and take care of your own meals.
